Bernice Ward Callahan, 68, of McLeansville, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Dr. A.L. Parker will officiate.
A native of Guilford County, she was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bill Fields of Greensboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Janet Callahan of Gibsonville, Donald and Phyllis Callahan of Whitsett, Charles and Barbara Callahan of Albany, Ga., Billy and Debbie Callahan of Richmond, Va.; sister, Helen Phillips and husband, Roy of Winston-Salem; brother, Paul Ward of Seneca, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
