Paul Louis Schultz, 60, 2828 Meeker Ave., died unexpectedly Thursday night en route to Ball Hospital. A Muncie resident since 1910, he attended St. Lawrence Catholic School, Wilson Junior High School and Central High School. He was a Delco Battery Co. employee for 30 years before retiring because of ill health. He was a member of the Sympathy Club.
He is survived by his wife, Bettylou; a son, David, at home; a stepdaughter, Carol Lynn Overbay, at home; two sisters, Miss Pauline Schultz, Muncie, and Mrs. Maurice (Marie) Smithson, Fort Wayne; and a brother, Raymond Harold, Muncie.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary after 3 p.m. Sunday and before services there at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
