Mr. Anderson was a native of Clay County and the son of the late William Perry and Hazel Penland Anderson. He was a WWII US Air Force veteran. Clifford lived in Marietta, GA for 30 years and retired from General Motors. He returned to Clay County in 1989. He was Past Master of Masonic Lodge 301 of Hayesville and attended Bethabara Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Anderson, Elmer Lee Anderson and Jerry Anderson.
He is survived by three daughters, Anita Elaine Anderson of Woodstock, GA, Angela Renee Brown of Douglasville, GA and Amelia Ann Brown of Blairsville, GA; one brother, Robert Carol Anderson of Hayesville and one sister, Norma Jean Smart of Hayesville; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Denny Moss and Rev. Kiffer Ledford will officiate. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in the Peachtree Community.
