She was united in marriage to Clyde Millard McMillen March 11, 1927. She was perceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde, and one grandaughter. Connie.
Mayme is survives by two daughters, Verba Faye Weaver Alexander of Kansas City, Missouri and Dottie Ruth McMillen Mace of Grovespring, Missouri; three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends.
She lived most of her life in Wright COunty area except one year she lived in Kansas City, Missouri and worked in a defense plant. She had made her home on the family homestead that was founded by her great-grandfather.
Mayme served as a midwife to lots of mothers in the area and helped deliver many babies.
She loved to attend church and had made her peace with the Lord. She was a kind and caring person and liked to help people. She never met a stranger and loved her family dearly. Mayme will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and a caring friend.
