Katherine Walker, 74, of Hillsboro passed away October 1, 2013 in Waco. She was born April 10, 1939 in Hillsboro to William Thornton and Eula Mae Major Chastain.
On September 13, 1955 she married Bobby Walker and became a homemaker. Katherine enjoyed her family being together and especially loved taking care of and spending time with her grand children and great-grand children. She was a member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Howard Thornton Chastain and Gerald Ray Chastain and one sister, Patsy Joe Goodman.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Walker; four children, Bobby Lynn Walker, Billy Walker, Susan Miller and Lisa Sewall; brother, Mike Chastain; ten grand children and six great-grand children.
Funeral services will be held October 4, 2013 at the Chapel in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.
