A celebration of the life of Gary Wayne Malone will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2013 at Wilda Baptist Church with Reverend Joey Rudisill officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
The family requests that visitation be observed Monday at Wilda Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, for those wishing to express their condolences.
Mr. Malone, 54, of the Wilda Community passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his residence.
A simple man with few wants or needs, he will be remembered by many for his gentle and kind spirit, honesty and his willingness to help anyone in any way at any time. He will be remembered as one full of compassion, Gary would never harm anyone or anything. He was a devoted son to his father, from whom he inherited a love for outdoors and natural beauty, honestly becoming passionate about fishing, hunting and his beloved dogs. His friendship, helpfulness, love and smiles will be remembered by all and greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Causey Malone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Hardy Malone; sisters, Debbie Malone and Pam Malone Andes; nephew, Kohl Andes; his faithful friend and companion, Polly.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Tiger and Bo Maddox.
