Obituary notes deaths of two sisters one day apart from each other in Georgetown. Service for two daughters of Carter L. Stevenson were held at home near corner of ''Frederick & 1st St. [the old street names and numbers were separate from rest of the city and was considered ''West Washington'', a bit outside of the main grid].
Sisters Isabelle Stevenson Bemis & Frances Annette Stevenson Tyler are buried in section 9 and share each side of a common marker.
Appears ''Belle's'' husband was a delegate or other Democratic representative from Florida during the run up to the Civil War and name appears to show up on the 1850 Census. Hope to have further information in the future.
