Barney
The funeral of Mrs. Daisy Jessup was held from the church in Barney Sunday, conducted by Rev. Hoover. The remains were followed to the Barney cemetery by a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives, where she was laid to rest.

Mrs. Daniel Jessup, who was committed to the asylum at Clarinda some months ago, died at that place on September 18th. Mrs. Jessup was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Simmerman, of Monroe township, and funeral services were held at Barney and interment made in the Barney cemetery.
