Gary Norman Farrar, age 77, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on September 27, 2013. Born in Overland and raised in Ferguson by Elmer J. and Hazel Farrar, Gary was a loving husband to Elsie Farrar (nee Benson), father to Mike (Cathy) Farrar of O'Fallon and Ed Farrar of Troy and beloved grandfather to Jessica, Andrew, Alex and Alyssa. He is survived by brother Richard (Norma Jean) Farrar of Florissant MO, brother Keith (Sally) Farrar of Iowa, sister Rose (Gene) Roettger of Marthasville MO, and Margie (Jim) Dolgowich of South Carolina, sisters-in-law Helen Farrar, Loree Farrar, Willie Farrar and Marion Farrar. A good friend and a devoted uncle to many. Gary is predeceased by brothers, Nick, Rolla, Everett, Kenneth and Tom and sisters Genevieve Farrar and Mary Lou Perryman. Gary will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Memorial service on Oct. 4, 2013, interred at Spring Garden Cemetery in Eldon, Missouri.
