ARARAT, NC ~ Mr. Timothy Marion "Tim" Atkins, 49, of Little Mountain Church Road, Ararat, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Atkins was born Jan. 24, 1957, in Surry County to Gracie Marion Atkins and the late Calvin Ray Atkins.
He was employed by Turbo Care/Siemens Westinghouse in Rural Hall for 26 years. He was also the owner and operator of Atkins Mowing and Landscaping, which he enjoyed and took much pride in.
