Clifford Hubbard Shawnee resident Clifford Hubbard, 72, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, at a local nursing home.
He was born April 11, 1933, in Seminole County to Milton and Verna (Stewart) Hubbard. He attended Prairie Valley schools and moved to Pottawatomie County in 1946.

On Aug. 18, 1950, he married Louise Padgett in Seminole.

He was a truck driver for Bodard and Hale Oil Company for 33 years. He was a member of Romulus Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lee Roy, Johnny Lee, Eldon Lloyd and Billy J. Hubbard; and one son, Clifford Lee Hubbard.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Hubbard of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Donna Hubbard of Shawnee; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Chris Rackley of Earlsboro; three granddaughters, April Hubbard and husband, Ray Walker of Shawnee, Dana Rackley and Jessica Rackley, both of Earlsboro; grandson, Terry Hubbard Jr. of Shawnee; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Erika and Hayden Walker of Shawnee; brother and sister-in-law, Wilburn and Laverne Hubbard of Meeker; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Lonnie Kennedy of Shawnee; two sisters-in-law, Lois Hubbard and Joy Hubbard Aday of Shawnee; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
