Funeral services for Kenneth H. Alexander, 52, of Benton, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton. The Rev. E. A. Somers will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and until time for the funeral on Wednesday.
Mr. Alexander who lived at 342 W. 4th St., died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in Franklin Hospital after an illness of two days. He was born Jan. 6, 1919, in Franklin County, the son of Joe and Pearle Barnfield Alexander. He owned and operated the Alexander Paint and Electric Store in Benton.
He was preceded in death by his father. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Benton American Legion, VFW, and East Benton Baptist Church and Benton Elks Club No. 1234.
He is survived by his wife, June[*]; mother Mrs. Pearle Williams of Benton; a brother, Charles of Benton; and sisters, Mrs Cloe Dorris of Benton and Mrs. Margaret West of Carmi.
