George Michael Reich, age 83, of 139 Maple Avenue, passed away Tuesday noon, December 2, 1958, in the Barnesville General Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday evening.

A son of Andrew and Elizabeth Claus Reich, he was born May 15, 1875, near Woodsfield. A retired farmer, he moved to Woodsfield from near Malaga twenty-two years ago.

Mr. Reich was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (Evangelical Reformed).

Surviving are his wife, Katherine Feldner Reich; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Freitag, of Woodsfield, and Mrs. Matilda Gertler, of Cambridge, and one brother, William Reich, of Woodsfield; three sisters, Mrs. Lucetta Sulsberger, Mrs. Christina Siegel and Mrs. Ella Brubach, preceded him in death.

Friends are being received at the Bauer and Turner Funeral Home. Services will be held in their chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. George W. Varnes, of Lewisville, officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
