Visitation will be from 6 till 8 P.M., Thursday, September 19 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Obituary:
Dale E. Barrett, age 85 of Delight, Arkansas passed peacefully from this life on September 18, 2013 in his home.

He was born April 20, 1928 in Harrold, South Dakota. Dale was a devout Christian and member of First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. He was a retired operations engineer, and lived a full joy filled life, he enjoyed various activities with his friends and family. He was a WWII veteran and served his country in the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Barrett of Delight, Arkansas. A daughter Andrea Eide and husband Kevin of Hawaii. A son Mark Barrett and wife Nancy of California. A sister Roberta Holman and husband Earl of Washington state. Four granddaughters Melissa Eide, Emily Fuentes, Katie Barrett, and Olivia Barrett. One grandson, Daniel Barrett. Three great granddaughters, Naiya, Sonya, and Jayda. An extra close nephew Larry Harris and wife Sally of California and many other much loved nephews and nieces. Six brothers-in-law Wayne Humphry and wife Joann, Winston Humphry and wife Kattie, Jimmy Humphry and wife Dale, Mike Humphry and wife Becky, Steve Humphry, and Rick Humphry and wife Theresa, one Sister-in-law Emma Lee and husband J.J. all of Delight, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Norris Barrett and Robert Barrett. One brother Willard and three sisters, Zella Harris, Lucile Williams, and Peggy Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held at First Christian Church in Murfreesboro, Friday September 20, at 10am, with Alan McRae officiating, interment will be at the Delight Cemetery with Military Honors.
