Mr. Clarence H.Washington,Sr, age 77, of Dayton, born December 31, 1935, went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 15, 2013 at Kindred Hospital. A native of Versailles, KY and a Dayton resident 47 years.

A former employee of GH&R Foundry and a retired employee of Chrysler Corporation after 12 years of service.

Preceded in death by his father, Edward Washington, Sr.; brother, Edward Washington, Jr.; sister, Lucille Murphy; mother of his children, Joyce Washington.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Elizabeth Washington, of Versailles, KY; 2 brothers, Eugene (Phyllis) & Chris (Tammi) Washington; two sisters, Alice (Ronald) Taylor, Sally (William) Smith; 7 sons, Clarence (Carrie), Dwayne (Patrice), Cordell (Sheila), Kendall, Brian, David (Michelle) & Dion (Felisa) Washington; 6 daughters, Vickie McDaniel, Sherry Washington, Deirdre (Charles) Johnson, Shelia (Mark) Sumerlin, Reecie Washington & Jackie Green; 27 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; best friend (brother), Fred Armstrong; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 2067 North Gettysburg Avenue. Rev. Willis Polk officiating, Rev. Dr. David Fox, Interim Pastor. Interment West Memory Gardens.
