From the 8 Aug 2012 obituary in the Tennessean newspaper: Donald "Donnie" Lee Mayberry, Jr. - Age 48 of Madison, TN, died on August 2, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; son, John Paul; father, Don Mayberry, Sr. (Shirley); mother, Syd; sister, Dana; brother, Dallas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. After graduation from Whites Creek High School, he served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Using skills learned in service, he worked as an electrician and maintenance supervisor for several local manufacturing companies. His lifelong favorite pastime was reading science fiction and fantasy. He was also a gifted artist and enjoyed working with computers. A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8th at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, 37221. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
