A Funeral Service for Ronald E. Anderson of Baudette, MN will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Border Evangelical Free Church in Border, MN at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Border Cemetery in Border, MN.
Ronald Eugene Anderson passed away at his home as he wanted to when the time came, which turned out to be Saturday, May 4, 2013, at about 10:15 in the evening.
Ron was born in Spooner (East Baudette) to Frances and Edmund Anderson on June 7th 1932, their first born and only son. Ron grew up on the family farm and attended Border School through the 8th grade, then decided that he wanted to attend Baudette High School, and graduated from there. Ron then sought work on highway construction, working for Herbison construction for a couple of years before starting to work for Chris Sunne doing building construction.
Ron and Barbara Larson met in 1952 and were married on December 31st 1953. They have lived in about a mile radius of the family farm all their married life and milked cows there for over thirty very busy but happy years.
Ron is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sister and brother in law Carole and Jerry Randall, several nieces and nephews and also several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Virginia; sister in law, Dianne, and nephew Jon Randall.
