Joseph Leonard Lotz, 57, died September 18, 2005 (Sunday) at Plymouth, MN. The son of Donald and Evelyn (Mohs) Lotz, Joseph was born November 20, 1947, at Eitel Hospital in Minneapolis. He was baptized at the Basilica of St. Mary and in 1966 was graduated from South High School. He attended the Minnesota School of Business and the University of Minnesota. After working for Control Data Corporation in various positions at several locations, he and Ronald Rosenberg operated a successful business in Los Angeles until Joe was diagnosed with cancer. Joseph is survived by his partner, Ronald Rosenberg; mother, Evelyn Gores; siblings, Dianna Medicraft, William Lotz, Linda Gores, James Gores and Daniel Gores; one niece and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lotz, and step-father, Clayton Gores. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary, N. 16th St. and Hennepin Ave S., Mpls. Entombment will be in the Gethsemane Mausoleum, New Hope. Visitation Thursday 6-8 PM at the Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 37th Ave N. and Vicksburg Lane, and at the Basilica Friday one hour before mass.
