Anna M. Tifft, 70, of 5106 Oswego County Route 22, died
early Wednesday at her home. She had been ill with scleroderma.
Born Nov. 21,
1926, in the town of Albion, daughter of William and Flora Mae Bell Spedding,
she was a 1944 graduate of Pulaski High School. She had been previously
married.
Mrs. Tifft was a member of Mannsville United Methodist Church. She had
lived in Lacona since 1965.
Surviving are her husband, Milford R.; a son, David
Crossett, Mexico; two daughters, Patricia Tifft, Liverpool, and Janice Deming,
Lacona; two brothers, Clifford "Kip" Spedding, Pulaski, and Thomas Spedding,
Oklahoma; a sister, Irene "Pete" Gugula, Hannibal, a granddaughter and several
nieces and nephews.
A private funeral will be Friday at Summerville Funeral
Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Jane Sautter, pastor of Mannsville United
Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy
Creek.
