Steve Nicholson, 59, of Malta Bend, MO, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Born August 3, 1954 in Buffalo, MO, he was the son of the late Edgel Nicholson and Helen Bailey Nicholson. He had lived in Saline County his entire life and did drywall work. He loved fishing.
Survivors include one son, Shane Nicholson of Marshall; one daughter, Stephanie Nicholson and companion, Denton Horner of Malta Bend; three grandchildren: Kolby Nicholson, Annsly Parker and ShyAnne Parker; five sisters: June Ragland of Marshall, Terri "Jo" Arnold and husband Clarence "Horse" of Malta Bend, Rhonda Tindle and husband Bill of Bolivar, Leslie Mincks and husband Jeff of Bolivar, and Tracy Nicholson of Fair Grove; one brother, Chuck Nicholson and wife Angie of Nixa; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Sherry Arnold, Kathy Mills, Mona Herbert, and Robin Colbert; two brothers, Glen "Snoz" Nicholson and Billy Jim "Buck" Nicholson; three nephews: Mark Arnold, Cody Nicholson, and Johnny "Paco" Mills; and a brother-in-law, David Ragland.
