Phillip W. Glover, 80, a 10-year resident of Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at his home.
Phillip was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Bloomington, Ind., to Bernard and Maude (Williams) Glover. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Moose Lodge, Men's Brotherhood and National Federation Retired Federal Employees. He married Alma Chambers on April 14, 1948.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alma (Chambers)Glover of Sierra Vista; son, John R. (Paula) Glover of Lone Pine, Calif.; daughter, Catherine "Cathie" Philpott of Sierra Vista; grandchildren: Shannon Glover of Lone Pine, Calif., Shad Glover of Ridgecrest, Calif., Tina Zanirato, Denise Green, Jessica Johnson, Charity Philpott and Ariel Philpott, all of Sierra Vista; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Brittany Glover of Ridgecrest, Calif., Megan and Douglass Philpott-Young of Whitney, Texas, James Philpott, Alyssa Philpott, Jacob Philpott-Green, Alison Green, Charlie Philpott, Bill and Justin Philpott, all of Sierra Vista.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bloomington, Ind. Arrangements are by Hatfield Funeral Home of Sierra Vista.
