Among those who attended the funeral were several civil war veterans, Mr. Winebrenner having been a, member of company B, 48 Regiment Indiana Infantry volunteers.
Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr. Winebrenner died Easter Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at his home on Dewey avenue, after a long illness. He was 74 years of age and leaves his wife and son, Ted, two brothers and two sisters, besides a large circle of friends, to mourn his death. (Bemidji Pioneer, April 23, 1919)
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the old friends and neighbors for the many acts of kindness and tributes of love during the illness, death and burial of our beloved husband and father, the late James Winebrenner.
