Anthony DeGregorio, 87, entered into the Heavenly arms of Jesus with his loving family by his side on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born on November 14, 1925 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred and Tomasina "Bessie" (Muraco) DeGregorio.
Tony, as he was known by family and friends, worked as an Oil Burner Service Technician for various local companies. He was a member of Greater Niagara Falls Church of God. Tony was a "Jack of all Trades."
Tony is survived by his wife, Betty C. (Bigalow) DeGregorio; four children, Alfred (Bernadette) DeGregorio of Niagara Falls, NY, Joanne (Wayne) Barton of Seneca, SC, Deborah (Lewis) Huff of Niagara Falls, NY and Randy (Irene) DeGregorio of Niagara Falls, NY; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Thomas DeGregorio of Deerfield Beach, FL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by his loving wife of over forty-three years, Blanche (Puia) DeGregorio, who passed away in 1987; and three brothers, Alfonse, Daniel and Ernest DeGregorio.
