Ruby Christine George, 95, of Johnson City, TN passed away at her home on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Ruby was born in Candor, NY in 1921 to Clarissa and Charles Merritt.
Ruby lived in Binghamton, NY until 1979 then retired to Sunny Hills Florida where she lived until August 2017. She spent the last few months of her life in Johnson City, TN with two of her granddaughters and their families.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by husband Lyle D. George and sons David L. George and Alan R. George.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ronald L. George and his wife Cheryl, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and even more cats that she adored.
Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Candor, NY at a later date.
