Mrs. Patricia Sweat, age 87 of McDonough, GA passed away September 23, 2013. Mrs. Sweat was born in Orlando, FL the daughter of the late Joseph Daniels and Eva Mercer Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Crawford Nutt and George William Sweat Sr. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Caneup.
Mrs. Sweat was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time in her yard and with her devoted pet Oliver. She lived a full exciting life, painting, gardening, crocheting and singing in the church choir.
Survivors are her children; Frances Hillman (Al) of Richmond, VA and Kathy Jones (Randy) of Senoia, GA; sister, Betty Jo Scherer of Seminole, FLA; grandchildren, Randy Slattery (Brandy) of Griffin, GA, Jaime Hillman of Farmville, VA, Ashley Aschauer (Ryan) of Dunwoody, GA; great grandchildren, Dewayne Slattery, Alexis Slattery, Kayla Slattery, Tristan Slattery and Ava Aschauer.
Funeral service for Mrs. Sweat will be Thursday, September 26, 2013- 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor David O'Steen officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
