UTAH PIONEER DIES IN HINCKLEY

Willis Eugene Robison, 83, died at his home in Hinckley late Monday,(28 Jun 1937) closing a long career as pioneer, legislator and church leader.
Patriarch Robison was born in Crete, Will co., Ill. on March 1,1854, while his family was en route westward to join the LDS pioneers. His parents were among the early settlers in the old fort in Fillmore. Me married Sarah Ann Ellett July 8, 1874 and spent his early married life in Scipio. In October, 1882, he was called on an LDS mission to the southern States. Serving in two Legislatures, Mr. Robison was also a member of the Constitutional Convention. He was selected to fix the bounderies of a new county, to give it a name and select its officers. In Wayne County, he was called to the presidency of the Wayne LDS Stake.
He is survived by his widow, Mary Louise Ellett Robison and the following sons and daughters; Willis, Berry and Frank Robison and Mrs. Myrl Terry of Hinckley; Ward Robison of Delta; an adopted daughter, Zeala Wright of Stockton, Cal., 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
