Dorothy Louise Plummer, 84, of Reisterstown, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at Country Care Farm Assisted Living in Westminster.
Born March 3, 1929, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Milton Bowman Hale and Margaret Harris Hale. She was the wife of the late Willie Breece Plummer.
She worked at Maryland Cup Corporation and Grant's 5 & 10 Store.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Debbie Plummer, of Sykesville; grandchildren Robert F. Plummer Jr. and wife Leslie, Richard A. Plummer and wife Lori, Karen M. Keller and husband Andy, and Jennifer L. Polk and husband Brian; great-grandchildren Amanda, Sarah, Ethan and Mason Plummer, Joshua Mixter, Andrew, Tyler and Liam Keller, and Lucas Polk; brothers Donald H. Hale and wife Esther, of Upperco, and Edward L. Hale and wife Bonny, of Westminster; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert Frank Plummer Sr.; a sister, Evelyn Graham; a brother, James Hale; and two infant brothers.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Louis Piel, of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Finksburg, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
