Louise Murray, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at her home in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Parker Funeral Service, 22 N. Tenth St., conducted by the Rev. Kathy Morrison. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Parker Funeral Service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Murray was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Harrisburg to Jodie C. and Willie M. Stidham Buckler.
She married Joe S. Murray on Oct. 10, 1941, in Hallsville. He died Oct. 22, 2001.
Mrs. Murray lived her entire life in Boone County. She graduated from Sturgeon High School and later work as a bookkeeper at Stephens College. Mrs. Murray loved her family and enjoyed drives in the country. She also enjoyed embroidery and had completed more than 150 pillowcases in the past five years. She was a member of Wilkes Boulevard United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Murray is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Dysart of Columbia; her son, Phillip J. Murray of Columbia; three brothers, Granville Buckler of Columbia, Wendell Buckler of Columbia and Leland Buckler of Higginsville; four grandchildren, Chris Dysart and wife Dawn, Andrea Dysart, Sarah Butler and husband Andy and Michael Murray; two great-grandchildren, Arianna and Jordyn Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
