A hero who died in the McKenzie River while attempting to rescue a small girl who was
drowning. The child's mother and another adult who went in the river to save the girl
were struggling in the strong current. The little girl and the two adults rescued by
another swimmer, but Travis Conner died in his own attempt to save them. (Thanks Jan)
