Louis Morris ICHENHAUSER, the son of the late Silas and Emma ICHENHAUSER, was born September 25, 1898, in Evansville, {Vanderburgh County,} Indiana, and passed away March 24, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio.

After graduation from high school he volunteered for services to his country and served for 19 months aboard a destroyer during World War I.

Later he entered Indiana University Law School at Indianapolis, Indiana, and was graduated at this institution in 1930. While attending Indiana he met the former Beatrice OWEN. They were united in marriage December 1, 1928, and established their home in Hamilton, Ohio.

He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Hamilton, and was a 32d degree Mason with membership at Bloomington, Indiana. At the time of his death he was an adjudicator with the Veterans Administration offices in Cincinnati, Ohio.

To his friends and neighbors he was known for his love of his wife and home.

Funeral services for Mr. ICHENHAUSER were conducted at the First Baptist Church, Bloomfield, Indiana, on March 27 at 3:30 p.m. Pallbearers were Ward TERRELL, Wentworth QUILLIN, Lavern LAUGHLIN, Bernard GREENE, Claude WORKMAN and Sam JOHNSON. The Rev. Kenneth NEUENSCHWANDER officiated, with the Rev. J. N. A. DOWNDEY assisting. Mr. and Mrs. Warren ROWE sang “Lead Kindly Light” and “Ivory Palaces.” The Rev. Mr. NEUENSCHWANDER read “Crossing the Bar.”
