Joyce Mitchell Malone, age 78, passed away September 27, 2013 at her residence. She graduated from Pensacola Jr. College with a degree in nursing. However, her love was working as an artist painting landscapes and portraits. Many of her paintings are displayed in local area businesses. Her hobbies include traveling, fishing and teaching Children's Church at Farm Hill Baptist. She was a professional cake decorator.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Carroll and Willie Mitchell. She is survived by Bennie Malone, loving husband of 61 years; daughters, Brenda (Richard) Mihalik and Kaye Enterkin; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and brother, Bo (Ann) Mitchell.
Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel North Saturday, September 28, 2013, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel North.
