A funeral service will be held Thursday in Berlin, Pa., for James Saylor, 63, of RD 2, Meyersdale, who was killed Monday night in a one-car accident near Berlin. Mr. Saylor was dead on arrival at Meyersdale Community Hospital about 45 minutes after the accident which occurred on Pennsylvania Route 160 about five miles south of Berlin at 5:45 p.m.
A native of North Hampton Township, Pa., he was a son of the late Peter and Ellen (Deal) Saylor. He was employed as a sawyer.
Surviving are his widow, June (Kroushour) Saylor; five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Werner, Mrs. Marlene Bowman, Salamanca, N. Y.; Mrs. Shirley Ann Weimer, RD 2, Meyersdale; Mrs. Lois Sacco, RD 4, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Carolyn Wymer, East Aurora, N. Y.; three brothers, Jerry Saylor, RD 4, Meyersdale; William Saylor, RD 3, Berlin, and Harry Saylor, RD 2, Meyersdale.
The body is at the Johnson and Son Funeral Home in Berlin where a service will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Paul E. Snyder will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
