Leo Benson, 65, 700 E. Ninth St., recently retired manager of Schiff's Shoe Store, died Wednesday at Ball Hospital. A native of Royal Center, Ind., Mr. Benson had managed the shoe store during the 32 years he had resided in Muncie. He had just retired the first of this year. Mr. Benson had also managed Schiff's stores in Logansport and LaPorte.
He was a member of the Madison Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Della; four sons; a daughter; his mother; a sister and brother; and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements are being completed at the Meeks Mortuary.
