Mrs. Ted (Mary) Vnuk, age 73, of 1706 Philippen St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, August 16, 1998, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 1998, at Jens family Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Deacon William Klein with burial of her cremated remains at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born October 10, 1924, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Hagner York. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 1943. Mary worked for many years at the Manitowoc Tinsel Company. She married Theodore(Ted) Vnuk on August 31, 1953, in Crown Point, Ind. Mary was a former member of the Women?s Bowling Association.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore (Ted) Vnuk, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Sue) Vnuk, Manitowoc; Mary's pride and joy one granddaughter, Rachel Vnuk, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward (Joyce) York, Manitowoc, Joseph (Mary) York, Manitowoc; one sister, Gladys Budnik, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James York.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, on Tuesday, August 18, 1998, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
