Anthony Patrick Lombard, age 85 years, died September 25, 2013, at Gulfport, Mississippi. Mr. Lombard was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and participated in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at St. James Catholic Church until his health failed.
He served with the Gulfport Police Department for 20 years. After retirement, Anthony could be found working in his garden and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Lombard was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Grace Small Lombard.
He leaves to cherish his life and legacy nine children, Deborah Lombard (Lee) Frazier, Maurice J. (Norma)Lombard, Judy Lombard (Elliot) Barkum, Anthony (Chitquta)Lombard, Jr., Stephen J.(Shelly) Lombard, Patrice R. Lombard, Byron J. (Nacelyn) Lombard, Elton (Phaedra) Lombard, Corey M.(Anna) Lombard; one brother, Rene Lombard; two sisters Carmelite Lombard Goodreaux, Sadie Lombard; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; scores of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
