THE PARIS NEWS, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2013, PAGE A3 - Ola Mae Jackson, 68, of Hugo, formerly of Paris, died at 11:50 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at the Baptist Village of Hugo.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Burgie Thompson and the Rev. Carl Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Ola Mae was born Aug. 9, 1945, in Bagwell, to Tom Jefferson and Annie Lee Whitson Jackson. She retired from Campbell's Soup Company after 34 years of faithful service. Miss Jackson was a member of First Assembly of God of Paris.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Dovie Lee Wells.

She is survived by one brother, David Jackson and wife, Louise; two sisters, Lois Jackson and Ann Hammond and husband, Lenard; four nephews, Waco Jackson, James Wells, Anthony Wells and Tim Hammond; one niece, Beth Patterson; four great-nephews, Wesley Jackson, Sterling Hammond, Connor Hammond and Ryan Patterson; and one great-niece, Carly Patterson.

Pallbearers will be James Babb, Jimmy Babb, Ronnie Kyles, Steven Grisham, Lenard Hammond and Jackie McQueen.
