Vicki Lynn Young, age 56 of Kingsland, Texas passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 in Austin, Texas. She was born in Austin, Texas on August 14, 1957 to Lawrence Dodson and Betty (Davis) Dodson.
Vicki had lived in Austin until moving to Kingsland in 1984. She married Lonnie Young on November 4, 2000 in Marble Falls. Vicki worked in Kitchen Service with the Marble Falls ISD.
Vicki loved watching TV, especially The Wheel Of Fortune, and most especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her Husband Lonnie Young of Kingsland, Daughter Kayla Speece of Austin, Son James Dodson and his wife Brooke of Llano, two Brothers Clyde Dodson and his wife Kathy of Llano and Keith Dodson and his wife Charlotte of Granite Shoals.
She is also survived by her Grandchildren Madison Dodson, Kaleb Dodson, Jasmine Marciel, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Betty Dodson.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Llano City Cemetery in Llano with Rev. Charles Venezio, Pastor of Celebration Church in Georgetown officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.
