He attended the University of Cincinnati, was a WWII, U.S. Army Air Corp serving as a B-24 Navigator-Bombardier for the 8th Air Force and retired from the Cory Corporation in Chicago. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stanford Roark Alexander, surviving is son, William (Lisa); granddaughter, Kristin (Kevin) Babic; great-granddaughter, Warner Babic; niece, Ellen Scott and nephews, Barry Cook and Mell Morris, A Celebration of Life will be held October 5, 2013 at the Faith (Viera) Lutheran Church in Rockledge, FL.
