Michael P. Trainor, 71, of 714 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Trainor was born Nov. 28, 1898, at Silver Lake, son of the late Henry and Bridget Gallagher Trainor. He married Lucy Scherer Sept. 28, 1926, at St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. The couple moved to Manitowoc after their marriage where he was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Dept., retiring in 1964. He was a member of St. Paul Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Harold, of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Janet) Klackner of Manitowoc and Mrs. Eugene (Rita) Schmidt of Grayslake, Ill.; two brothers, Raymond and Francis of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Allan Logan, of Milwaukee, and 24 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
