Funeral services for Joyce Marie (Beard) Daniel, 89, of Hudson will be held in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Trinity County.
Mrs. Daniel was born November 16, 1926 in Pineland, Texas to the late Charles Francis and Lottie Lee (Brandon) Beard and died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Hospice in the Pines of Lufkin.
Mrs. Daniel, known throughout the community as "Mrs. D", had resided in Hudson for most of her life. She retired from the Hudson Independent School District as an Educator and Elementary Librarian. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Walter Enos; daughter, Terri Hohimer; son, Tim Daniel; grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Hohimer, Allison Sophia Hohimer, Hayne Daniel Enos and Kathryn Lee Enos; son-in-law, Jimmy Hohimer; sister-in-law, Mrs. Harry Georgia Daniel; aunt, Evelyn Faver; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayne E. Daniel.
