Lee "George" Hayes was born July 31, 1923 and passed away on September 12, 2013 at age 90.
He served for a short time in the Navy during WWII. Not a lot is known about his distant background except that George lived without a home for many years in the Harrisburg area. More recently, George had 10 good years living in Morrison Towers in Harrisburg from 2001 to 2011 and spent two more good years living and communing with the residents and staff at The Middletown Home.
