Jo Ann Holt, 62, of Killeen, died Sept. 14, 2005, at her residence.
Her body will be cremated and burial will be at Flint Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Holt was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Blanket. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline Wilson Modewell. She worked for the Copperas Cove Police Department and was the first female officer in Gatesville. She also worked for the Texas Youth Commission and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Kelley; sisters, Mary Goodgion and Terri Valdez; and two grandchildren.
