DeeAnn Butterfield Morgan passed away Monday, March 26, 2001.

DeeAnn arrived on earth too early and left us too early. Loved and respected by all who knew her, DeeAnn exemplified the very meaning of courage. Countless many are feeling the wake of her departure.

DeeAnn was born May 13, 1970 in Union, Utah to Dee P. and Beth Proctor Butterfield. She married Eric A. Morgan on August 21, 1989 in the Salt Lake Temple. She bore two amazing children, Connor Eric Morgan (9) and Hayden Ann Morgan (7). It was Connor and Hayden who fostered her fighting spirit to live. "We will see her again, but not yet." Faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, DeeAnn fulfilled many callings and especially loved teaching the Relief Society. DeeAnn excelled in every endeavor, especially motherhood. She met every challenge and overcame all obstacles until she succumbed to recent treatments for Hodgskins Lymphoma.

Survivors include her husband, Eric; son, Connor; daughter, Hayden; parents, Dee and Beth Proctor Butterfield; brothers, Jeff (Penelope), Greg (Shelly); sisters, Brenda (Brian), Kim (Ron); grandmother, Jane Butterfield, age 102; and 32 nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors and nurses who cared for our DeeAnn during her five and one half year battle.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest 4th Ward 8735 So. Harvard Park Drive (1055 East). Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
