The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., Shiloh. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aldinger was born in Dallastown. He was the son of the late Annie Mae (Rohrbaugh) and Norval E. Aldinger Sr.
He had been employed at Lee's Diner of West York. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the U.S.S. New Jersey.
Mr. Aldinger also is survived by four sons, Norval E. Aldinger III, Steven G. Aldinger and Kirk D. Aldinger, all of York, and Dennis L. Aldinger of Red Lion; three daughters, Dawn E. Ness of Shirley M. Stein, both of York; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two brothers, Caron E. Aldinger of Dallastown, and Dale E. Aldinger of Red Lion.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. James M. Grant, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, York.
