Funeral services for Lydia Garcia Ayala were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2000 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, LA with Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield LA.
Mrs. Ayala, 78 of Winnfield, died Sunday, June 25, 2000 in the Winn Parish Medical Center. She was a native of Santa Barbara, CA and retired janitor and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons: Reynaldo Ayala, Jr. and Jose Ayala, both of Winnfield, LA; two daughters, Rachel Gonzales of Santa Barbara, CA and Ruth Cox of Cassopolts, MI; five brothers; two sisters; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Russel Jones, Chop Fredericks, Hector Del La Fuentez, Reyes Rodregis, David Broadway, Jr., and Shannon Anderson.
