Judith Lois Butler, 66, of Jefferson City died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at her home. She was born November 25, 1946, in Wisconsin.

Judy actively attended First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the Gospel Lighthouse Church. She loved to sing and was a member of the Jefferson City Symphony Chorus, First Baptist Church Adult Choir and First Baptist Friendship Singers. Judy was also actively involved in People First.

She was preceded in death by one son, Edwinn Charles Butler, on February 3, 2005, two infant sons and two infant daughters.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013, in the Duke Chapel at First Baptist Church, 301 E. Capitol Avenue, with Rev. Jeanie McGowan officiating. Private interment will be held in Longview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, (573) 636-3838.
