The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dalton, of Benton, and for several months had been at Camp Dodge, where his ability as a mechanic qualified him for a responsible position as an inspector of motors, and he was appointed to that position soon after he was called to service in the army. He is a young man of sterling character. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Dant and is an accomplished young lady. The young people are well and favorably known and have a wide circle of friends who unite in wishing them a happy and prosperous married life.
