Ray N. Cimino, 11/11/1951–7/30/2005. On July 30 at 3:36pm, this servant of the God of Abraham, crossed to the other shore. Ray was born in Tacoma & attended Harvard Elem., Ford Jr. High, Tacoma Baptist Schools. He was involved in 4-H & Christian youth groups for years. He joined the U.S. Army & served 1972-1975. He made 6 trips with Christian Emergency Relief Teams to aid Christian Nicaraguan refugees. At age 9 on June 15, 1961 he repented & was washed in the blood of the Lamb & later baptized. The most important relationship to him is his Lord Jesus Christ–the Way, the Truth, & the Life. For 31 years Ray was a faithful, loving, providing, supporting, encouraging husband & dearest & best friend to his wife Christy. And she can't wait to look into his sparkling eyes again. He was a prayer warrior, His-story-n, patriot, artist, writer, poet, humorist, inventor, landscaper, promoter of Truth, home-school-supporter, friend to the unborn, hater of porn, hater of evil, stander-in-the-gap, lover of animals & nature, fixer of everything broken, true friend and companion.

He is survived by his wife Christy, sister Jeannie, uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, & nephews. He was preceded in death by his 3 children (miscarried), parents S. Jack & V. Jean, grandparents Harry H. & Jean Tatom, grand uncle & aunt - Jack & Pearl Starling, & his birth siblings Shirley, Sheila, Tom, & Ralph Rose.

A memorial gathering of family and close friends was held Aug 4th. His body was buried at Rainier Cemetery.

"But we'll choose to do right And give God the praise, We'll give Him our trust 'Til the end of our days. And whatever happens, We will trust and obey Cuz that's what He wants, & that's the very best way!" -from a valentine poem by R.C. 2/14/2004
