Cheryl L. Overton, 53, of Washington, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Washington Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 21, 1956, in Washington, she was the daughter of Leon and Mary (Simmons) Brothers.
She was a graduate of Washington High School and Wabash Valley College with a degree as an LPN. She had worked for Washington Nursing Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Rachael Overton of Albuquerque, N.M.; her father, Leon Brothers of Washington; and one stepbrother, Ronnie Brothers of Washington.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Brothers, and one sister, Connie Roark.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
