Lucille was the daughter of Leslie Joseph Erwin and Clara Dessa Ulrey Erwin. The 1930 Census shows two older sisters - Ada and Velma. (Her husband's obit also lists Lucille's brother, Paul Erwin.)

Lucille married Lewis Readmond Laymon on 3/3/1946 in Hazel Dell, Cumberland Cnty IL.

Surviving were her husband, Lewis; three children - Dennis (Joan) Laymon, Martha (Marvin) Morgan, and Amy (Chris) Loyet; and Matt Morgan, Michelle Knizner, Melissa Couch, Madeleine Loyet, and Jessica Loyet.
